PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS

Founded in 1998, Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers is a non-stock, non-profit society dedicated in advancing the technical and managerial skills of industrial engineers. It spearheads the knowledge and technology sharing experience in providing applicable solutions to real world industrial engineering issues. Within the year of its inception, membership consisted of individual members, institutional members and student chapters including the Holy Angel University Student Chapter.

PIIE-HAU is a college based organization which goes far beyond the focused discussions of current industrial engineering problems and management issues. It provides a venue for members to enhance and strengthen their industrial engineering problems and management issues. It provides a venue for members to enhance and strengthen their industrial engineering capabilities and expertise. Through its regular programs such as seminars and plant tours. One of the most anticipated event of the organization is its active participation in the annual PIIE National Student Congress and Inter-University IE Quiz Contest. This is an annual gathering for IE students from Universities and Colleges all over the country. It is also a platform for students and IE practitioners alike to impart their knowledge, skills and talents through the various activities set by the organizers.

The PIIE-HAUSC envisions to be recognized as a premiere functional student organization of Holy Angel University, entrusted in promoting the general welfare and inculcating professional competence and holistic character to the Industrial Engineering students through continual pursuit to sustainable development and institutional excellence.

The PIIE-HAUSC is committed in providing the leadership in developing the industrial engineering students, dedicated to advancing the technical and managerial excellence of its members thereby developing a dynamic and responsible studentry who is zealous in contributing a better quality of life of the people in their community and their country as a whole.
